'Springtime in Japan at the Bellagio'

With over 82,000 flowers surrounding my wife and I in the Bellagio Conservatory, we walked through the exhibit to the far wall of the massive Conservatory to look back on the whole exhibit from behind one of the bridges... a vantage point unknown to many attendees...

A 32" x 18" acrylic on canvas painting of a small wooden bridge over water surrounded by flowers in an exhibit put on by the Bellagio’s Conservatory & Botanical Gardens in the Bellagio hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada titled "Springtime in Japan" thus inspiring the name of the 2016 work by artist Ben Miley.

'Springtime in Japan at the Bellagio' is a 32" x 18" acrylic on canvas painting of a small wooden bridge over water surrounded by flowers in an exhibit put on by the Bellagio’s Conservatory & Botanical Gardens in the Bellagio hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada titled "Springtime in Japan" thus inspiring the name of the 2015 work by Ben Miley.

The work explores a viewpoint of reflection – both literally and figuratively – a reflection of nature, to remind us there is no fake nature. Artificial displays of nature are in fact the nature we have created.
